Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for items and services.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

How this works at FOCUS

FOCUS is a private-pay practice, so this applies to every client. Our rates are listed on our fees page: therapy starts at $150 per 50-minute session, and fees vary by provider and session type.

We go over your expected fees during your free 15-minute consult. Before your first session, you'll receive them in writing in the client agreement you review and sign.

You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate at any point, including before you've decided anything. Just ask your provider or email contactfocuspsych@gmail.com.
